IPLC Director Professor Jeremy Sheff was selected as a 2016-17 Visiting Overseas Researcher by the Institute of Intellectual Property (IIP) in Tokyo, Japan, through a program entrusted to IIP by the Japan Patent Office. Professor Sheff spent two months in Tokyo, where he conducted empirical research on Japan's trademark registration system.

Subotnik Wins Award for Empirical Research Project on the Role of Intellectual Property in the Business and Art of Photography

Professors Eva Subotnik, Jessica Sibley (Northeastern University School of Law), and Peter DiCola (Northwestern University School of Law) have been awarded a $10,000 grant for intellectual property and innovation research from the Spangenberg Center for Law, Technology & the Arts at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
