Intellectual Property Law Society Event: “Overview of The Beverage Alcohol Industry: Careers and Insight Into This $100 Billion Industry.”

The Intellectual Property Law Society invites you to come learn about the complex regulatory structure that governs the beverage alcohol industry. With a dynamic panel composed of industry insiders and practicing lawyers, students will get an exciting peek into this niche area of the law. Our panelists will be discussing the basics behind the importation and distribution process, along with the governing legal framework. They will also be touching on how intellectual property plays a role in the creation and marketing of alcohol brands, and will offer advice on how to break into this fascinating area of the law. This event will take place in the Atrium on Wednesday, April 8th from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm. Food and Drinks will be served.

IP Colloquium Hosts Professor Michael J. Burstein

On March 16, the Intellectual Property Colloquium welcomed Professor Michael J. Burstein, an Assistant Professor at Cardozo School of Law, to discuss one of his works-in-progress.  Professor Burstein's paper is entitled "Patent Markets: A Framework for Evaluation."
