The IP curriculum at St. John’s Law is expanding in the Spring 2026 semester, with the addition of a new course on Trade Secret Law. Taught by adjunct professor Rich Rothman, an attorney at Paul Hastings, the course will guide students through the complexities of protecting confidential business information, and the interaction of trade secret law with corporate, employment, and criminal law. Professor Rothman brings his experience in litigating complex trade secret matters to the podium, offering St. John’s Law students an opportunity to learn practical lessons about this important form of intellectual property.
