On April 17, 2026, The St. John’s IPLC hosted the 2026 Intellectual Property Law and Philsophy Workshop (IPLaP). Founded by IPLC Faculty Director Jeremy Sheff in 2022 as a local New York City-based academic workshop, IPLaP has since expanded into a national conference, with scholars from across the country convening to discuss their research about theoretical questions raised by intellectual property law, law and technology, and the regulation of creativity, expression, and knowledge. Details about the workshop papers can be found on the IPLC Events Page.
